MN8 Gardens – Returns & Refunds Policy
At MN8 Gardens we are passionate about providing you with healthy, high-quality trees and plants and garden accessories to help your garden flourish. We understand that sometimes things don't go as planned, and we're here to help. Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully.
1. Our Commitment to Quality
We meticulously inspect all plants before they leave our nursery to ensure they are healthy and meet our high standards. We pack them with the utmost care to protect them during transit via courier.
2. Perishable Goods – Important Considerations
Due to the living and perishable nature of our products, our returns policy differs from that of non-perishable goods. Once plants leave our care, their health and survival depend on proper handling, planting, and aftercare by the customer.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Orders Upon Arrival
We kindly request that you inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
- Damaged Plants: If any plants arrive clearly damaged (e.g., broken branches, severe wilting beyond normal transit stress, uprooted), please:
- Take clear photographs of the damaged plant(s) and the packaging.
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at [Your Email Address] or [Your Phone Number].
- Provide your order number and a description of the damage.
- We will assess the damage and, at our discretion, offer a replacement (if available), a store credit, or a full refund for the damaged item(s). We may ask you to return the damaged item(s) to us; if so, we will provide a prepaid return label.
- Incorrect Plants: If you receive a plant that is not what you ordered:
- Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at [Your Email Address] or [Your Phone Number].
- Provide your order number and details of the incorrect item received.
- We may ask for photographs of the incorrect plant.
- We will arrange for the correct plant to be dispatched and provide instructions for the return of the incorrect item at our cost.
4. Change of Mind / Unwanted Items
As per Irish consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2022), you have a right to cancel your order and return certain goods. However, please note:
- Due to the perishable nature of live plants and trees, we generally do not accept returns for "change of mind" or unwanted items once they have been dispatched.
- If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us immediately. If the order has not yet left our nursery, we will process a full refund.
- We do make every effort to provide photographs and descriptions of the product being sold to help you understand the type of product you are buying.
5. Plants Not Thriving After Delivery
We cannot be held responsible for the health or survival of plants once they have been delivered and are outside of our direct control. Factors such as improper planting, unsuitable soil conditions, incorrect watering, pest infestations, disease, extreme weather, neglect, or lack of proper aftercare are beyond our responsibility.
- We do not offer refunds or replacements for plants that fail to thrive after the initial 24-hour inspection period, unless there is clear evidence of an underlying problem that was present at the time of delivery and was not visible within the initial inspection. This would be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- We encourage you to research the specific needs of your plants and provide them with appropriate care.
6. Refunds Process
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Shipping costs are generally non-refundable, except in cases where the item is damaged or incorrect upon arrival.

To report a damaged or incorrect order, or to discuss a return, please contact us with the following information:
